The Gem Shop, Inc. produces freeform designer cabochons for the custom metal smith. All of our cabs are cut and polished by hand in our shop in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The Gem Shop, Inc. specializes in agates and fine jaspers including Laguna Agate, Agua Nueva Agate, Black Druzy, Natural Druzy, Lace Agate, Willow Creek Jasper, Imperial Jasper, Morrison Ranch Jasper, and Ocean JasperŽ. Since most of our cabs are one-of-a-kind, we offer memo service for our customers. Just contact us and we will arrange for you to receive a selection of cabochons on approval.

Featured Cab

Porcelain Jasper

    Porcelain Jasper is mined in the mountains outside of Hermisillo, Mexico. This fine jasper is characterized by its exotic patterns in pink, purple, and cream colors. Many pieces exhibit a scenic quality.
    The Gem Shop lapidary produces these stones with the traditional German style buff top and beveled edge. This cutting method provides ease in setting, which makes them popular with custom metal smiths.
    The rectangular cabochon in the center of the picture measures about 59mm wide.
