Eden Valley Petrified Wood is
featured here. It is found in west-central Wyoming from three well known collecting
areas named the Blue Forest (about 30 miles west of Farson, Wyoming), Big Sandy
Reservoir (just north of Farson), and Oregon Buttes, (east of South Pass)
Wyoming. This variety of petrified wood is know for the detail of wood preservation
on the outside as well as for its interesting interior. Two views of each piece are shown
so you can see the outside as well as the polished face.
